Women Leading Women
Women have enormous skill and talent-and yet our leadership abilities and experience often remains untapped in organizations. What gets in the way? To a certain degree, we do. Unwittingly, even highly successful women described as powerhouses of strength, imagination, and creativity can limit themselves- suppressing their authentic voice based on a mistaken belief that this is required to be influential in their organization. Women Leading Women is a monthly peer coaching group that invites women at all stages of their careers to clarify who they are when they are at their best as a leader, identify the common traps women leaders often find themselves in, and explore five strategies to keep you anchored, adaptive and resilient. The program's focus is on building a critical foundation-a foundation of personal mastery-so that you can fully use all of your leadership skills and competencies. Through reflection and engaging conversations, participants clarify their sense of purpose; rekindle the power to choose; enhance inherent capabilities and deepen their confidence to express more of their true self in the actions they take day to day. Complete program details are available at:
Program Format
The program includes nine sessions. Participants meet once a month for approximately three hours; a certified facilitator and coach leads the conversation. Each group is intentionally kept small so everyone has the opportunity to actively participate. An outline of the topics discussed is on the back of this handout. In between each session, participants have an opportunity to apply their learning and deepen their awareness of each principle in their working environment. You will also be encouraged to meet with your smaller group in between the monthly sessions…either in person or via conference call.
