Today's leaders are challenged to motivate and mobilize others to achieve extraordinary results in increasingly complex environments.

The foundation of Tekara's leadership development programs is the identification of the competencies required to create and sustain such results. Customized programs, training, coaching and other practices are then designed to develop the relevant talents and skills among leadership groups.

Our Approach:

We design and deliver leadership development programs for our clients that are:

  • Integrated with the client organization's strategic platform (mission, vision, values) and with existing internal processes and systems (e.g., competency frameworks, performance management processes, and succession planning systems).

  • Customized for each client based on their need. Each customized program includes a variety of learning experiences and tools (experiential learning sessions, 1-on-1 coaching, assessments, etc.) and covers a range of leadership topics.

Leadership development begins with understanding and articulating what skills and behaviours represent good leadership practice in a particular organization.

When we partner with a client, we work with them to fine-tune their existing model of leadership or help them develop one from scratch. Based on our experience, there are five key common pillars – or sets of competencies – that shape effective leadership.
