Shoshana Allice, MA, CPCC

Shoshana is passionate about working with people to identify and grow their strengths, wisdom and natural leadership abilities. A dynamic facilitator and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, she brings over 15 years experience from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to her work with organizations and people. Through the lens of Organization Development, she designs and delivers programs to develop individual and organizational capacity in the areas of leadership, communication, change management and coaching skills. Her approach is based in values of authenticity and engagement, creating consistently interesting and experiential learning environments. Shoshana’s background includes a Masters Degree in Human Systems Intervention, as well as certifications in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, True Colors™, and advanced training in Instructional Design and Delivery. Shoshana is currently focused on supporting the roll-out of Tekara’s Coaching for Engagement program in India.

She combines a clear vision, sharp stewarding skills and collaborative style with proven experience working with organizations to build a foundation for success during times of transition. Jody inspires sustainable results through aligning leaders with corporate values, business models and change management objectives as well as shifting paradigms to build high performance cultures through the development and leveraging of leadership skills. Her ability to lead by example and model the behaviour necessary to engage and empower leaders continues to be one of Jody’s major strengths in moving an organization forward.As a Senior Practitioner contracted to provide leadership development and change management consulting solutions to high profile organizations and management teams, Jody has coached and empowered decision makers and groups from diverse industry sectors to uncover and apply their leadership capabilities while successfully envisioning and managing change. Jody’s energy and dedication are key contributing factors in assisting leaders to find their voice, harness their potential and develop a team-based culture focused on accountability. Isabelle Clements

Isabelle is a creative, energetic and fluently bilingual (French/English) professional with over twenty years of diverse and global HR experience. She most recently spent four years leading the North American Learning and Development Team for a global Technology Company, and was previously the Global HR Director of their Customer Support Division.Prior to working in the High Tech industry, Isabelle assumed several HR roles in the Airline Industry. She started her career with Wardair, and spent 10 years with Canadian Airlines. In her last year at Canadian Airlines, she was heavily involved in the Integration work associated with the acquisition process of Canadian by Air Canada. Her integration work experience came in handy when the High Tech company she later joined was purchased by one of its main competitors. As a result of this integration work, Isabelle has developed a passion and expertise around Organizational Culture and its impact on Employee Engagement and on the bottom line for businesses. Isabelle is driven by values and results, and excels at partnering with business leaders at all levels. She has international work experience and thrives in various cultural environments. She is a natural, high-energy trainer and group facilitator and has experience in the areas of Change Management, Organizational Culture, Leadership & Management, and High Performance Teams. She is an MBTI qualified facilitator and has done extensive work in the areas of individual development and team building using MBTI profiles.

Anabelle Donnovan

Annabelle brings over 15 years of experience to Tekara as a specialist in leadership and management development and employee engagement. Her most recent experience includes serving as the Director of Organizational Development & Learning for Vancity Savings Credit Union (one of Canada's top 50 employers).Annabelle began her career as a labour and employment lawyer but now focuses on helping leaders reach their fullest potential, as individuals and as team members. This is important to her because she knows first hand how great it can be to work in amazing environments where individuals are growing personally and professionally and people genuinely want the best for each other.

Bob Hancox, B.Ed, CPCC

For over 25 years Bob has been a successful leader in public and private sector organizations – specializing in leadership coaching and organizational development. His life’s mission is to strengthen leaders by designing and implementing programs and approaches that help people develop their authentic leadership abilities.As the lead of the Strategic Coaching Practice for Tekara, Bob is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) with thousands of hours of coaching hundreds of leaders. His coaching clients include Board Directors, CEO's and senior leaders across Canada, the United States, Europe, China and India. Bob is also a key developer of Tekara's Coaching for Engagement program and has delivered that program in Canada, India and China. Bob was selected as one of three finalists for the prestigious 2009 Coaches Canada Canadian Coach of the Year Award. His experience blends the value of a coaching approach with organizational development and leadership effectiveness principles. Bob's background also includes postgraduate training in Applied Behavioural Sciences, advanced training with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and Team Learning Lab Certification. He has also developed and implemented major change programs involving the William Bridges Transition model as well as the Kotter and ODR methodology. Bob enjoys working with clients that are faced with challenging situations involving large-scale implementation and change efforts with multiple stakeholders.

Russell Hunter, CEC

Russ is the National Director of the Human Performance Institute Canada, and co-author of the book Coaching for Engagement. He brings over 10 years of experience as a business leader, keynote speaker, facilitator, and performance coach – as well as athletic achievements in the sport of triathlon.Prior to becoming National Director, Russ was the founder and CEO of Boldeye Solutions, a market consulting firm with operations in Vancouver, Chicago, and London. Russell contributes articles to publications including Business 2.0 Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and Canadian Business. He speaks regularily on the topic of leading with energy at business conferences and association events worldwide. As an accomplished Ironman triathlete, Russ has competed in races across North America and in Europe. He now leverages his passion for endurance sports to enhance the lives of children in Canada. In 2001 he founded the IronChild Foundation, a registered charity which provides mentoring and educational opportunities for children living with chronic Illnesses.

Leona Kolla, MA

Leona Kolla brings 25 years of leadership experience working in four provinces in the private, non-profit and government sectors, along with expertise in organizational development, leadership development, succession management, executive coaching and facilitation. Past positions include Vice-President Development, Saskatchewan Opportunities Corporation; Associate Deputy Minister, Saskatchewan Economic Development; and President, Edmonton Convention and Tourism Authority.Leona has led major change initiatives, reorganizations, downsizings and expansions, as well as planned and implemented key strategic priorities in highly sensitive, political environments. Change, renewal, and exploration of new paths and approaches are the hallmark of her life and career. She holds degrees from Royal Roads University, the University of Toronto and the University of Saskatchewan.

Annette Martell, ABC, IABC Fellow

Annette’s 25-year leadership track record features counseling and advising executives on international and domestic communication and change issues. She develops and implements strategies for internal and external business projects, communication and change strategies that produce real results.Strongly advocating for results delivered on-time, on budget and within scope, she researches, develops and implements change communication strategies for sectors such as: financial services, retail, professional services, utilities, associations, post-secondary education. Her clients get guidance grounded in real-time, front-line issues. She had a stellar career with RBC Financial Group during which she led the communications team supporting RBC’s single largest reorganization. Formerly an Associate with Mercer, she was also Divisional VP of Communications, Government and Industry Affairs with Canada’s largest association for financial advisors (now: Advocis). As Grant Thornton’s National Director of Communications (formerly: Doane Raymond) she directly supported that firm’s CEO office. Annette knows how to personally sponsor change on a global scale. As IABC’s international chair (2002-3), with 15,000 members in 80 countries, she successfully led people through unprecedented financial, leadership and governance challenges. She frequently speaks and contributes expert opinion at the international and national level. Her leadership reputation and achievements resulted in her receiving IABC’s Fellow distinction in 2010. Eight years earlier, Annette earned the global accreditation designation in communication (ABC). She has a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and BA from Acadia University.

Claire Simpkins, BA, CHRP, MBA

Ryan Williams, MAL

Ryan specializes in internal communications, research and leadership development. He has a passion for servant leadership and shares the positive impact it can have on the lives of employees and organizational performance. His experience has involved strategy development, service improvements, communication audits, change management, and employee engagement. He facilitates planning, designs research, constructs effective questions, communicates results, and produces action.He was recognized by the International Public Relations Institute with the Golden Ruler Award of Excellence for Measurement in 2004 for his work with the Alberta Medical Association. Ryan has won three International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) Gold Quill Awards. Ryan is a Trustee with the IABC Research Foundation and chairs the marketing committee. Ryan is also a three time Blue Ribbon Panel Judge for the IABC Gold Quill Awards for excellence in communications. He speaks at international and national conferences and at local Universities and Colleges. This year’s IABC international conference in San Diego, Ryan will be speaking on how to incorporate research into communication planning. Ryan has been a regular contributor to Communication World with articles on using Social Media to connect people with purpose, the future of the communication profession and using intranets for measurement. Ryan earned his Masters of Arts in Leadership from Trinity Western University in 2007, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration with a major in Community Development from The University of Alberta. 

David McCutcheon BA, MA

David brings more than 25 years experience as a learning and development specialist, typically working at the intersection of Leadership Development, Culture Change and Strategic Planning. David's passionate and unconditional commitment as a senior learning and development consultant, allows him to help his clients and partners create and sustain inspiring leadership culture within their own unique organizations. 

With more than two decades of hands-on experience in a variety of public and private sector organizations, as well as post-graduate certification (a Masters degree in Adult Education from the University of British Columbia), David brings a unique mix of advanced level learning and development expertise, and a proven track record of delivering solid, down to earth, real world results.

For the first half of his career, he specialized in outdoor education training and pursued academic studies in the areas of Human Performance Analysis and Instructional Design and Coaching. For the majority of the last decade David has worked as a learning and organizational development specialist either within large corporate organizational learning teams or creating brand new leadership development initiatives as an external consultant. During this period, David has designed and successfully implemented many highly creative professional development solutions, helping numerous organizations move towards their goals with greater effectiveness and efficiency.

Neil E. Chin Aleong MBA, CHRP

Neil leads the Talent Management practice at Tekara and brings over 30 years of progressive, senior level general management experience to the role.  Neil’s formal business qualifications include an MBA degree in 1994 as well the CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional), HCS (Human Capital Strategist) and SWP(Strategic Workforce Planner) designations.  Neil’s experience spans several industries and environments.  He has successfully managed all facets of multi-million dollar, multi-location businesses, including all human resources responsibility, business planning, sales and operations.  His personal style of achieving results by developing others and encouraging them to flourish has been the hallmark of his success.  Neil has been responsible for leading and developing mid-sized teams through significant organizational change of structure and culture.

Outside of his professional career, Neil is an accomplished track athlete who has represented Canada on the world masters stage on several occasions.  He brings the same level of discipline and dedication to excellence at work as he does in world track competition.

Sandi de Domenico

Sandi is a senior human resources management consultant and professional business mentor coach with 35 years of experience and a proven record for delivering results. Her background includes roles as a Director of HR and Strategic Planning Coordinator in a large provincial crown corporation, and an independent consultant and business coach for a variety of organizations in IT, oil and gas, and TV/film/gaming industries. Within these roles she has a successful track record of designing and implementing large scale 'people' and engagement strategies for several organizations and coaching individuals and teams in business to succeed.

Sandi brings an ability to integrate real 'in the trenches' knowledge of the challenges and opportunities individuals and organizations face in changing environment, with a holistic approach to planning, systems thinking, coaching and change management. Sandi helps individuals and organizations create innovative people solutions that meet their unique needs and link with their visions, values, and strategic plans. Her passion is creating the space for individuals and groups to create solutions by combining big picture thinking with grounded 'feet-on-the-ground' ideas, and support people to successfully transition through change.

Kristann Boudreau, MRM

Kristann focuses primarily on designing powerful learning experiences and programs in the areas of leadership development and personal effectiveness. She brings both experience and training as a group facilitator, adult educator and professional coach. Her educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Resource and Environmental Management. Kristann continues to use her research skills to keep current with the thinking of key authors in business, and to hunt for new tools, models and best practices for Tekara to apply in our work with clients.Before joining Tekara, she spent several years working in the field of environmental management and stakeholder engagement in a large corporation. During that time, Kristann experienced first-hand the challenges facing young professionals and emerging leaders today. She is passionate about equipping leaders at all levels with the skills and tools to create workplaces where people are known and valued for their unique contribution.

Laurie MacDonald

As Tekara's Executive Coordinator, Laurie brings an extensive administrative background to Tekara. She oversees office administration, manages client inquiries, and coordinates financial operations at our head office in Vancouver.Laurie is passionate about people and cultivating community. She is also a singer and composer who integrates community and social issues into her music.

As someone who believes passionately in the potential of every human being Linnea has a long history of developing herself and helping others grow their potential. With a strong background in management roles, her coaching certification, and a passion for learning  she brings her experience and vision to her evolving role here at Tekara. In her personal time she attends school, travels, creates art, volunteers and believes that leading a life rich in new experiences is what living is all about.
