“Change-agile organizations have a clear purpose and embedded change processes that support collaboration with stakeholders in a psychologically safe environment, founded upon trust in leadership and emotional intelligence competencies.”

Debora offers unique expertise as both a Change Management Practitioner and Visual Insight Facilitator. She has a keen eye to see the big picture and is skilled at harnessing the strengths of individuals while addressing barriers, with the goal to facilitate collaborative and high functioning teams and organizations. Debora’s diverse experience spans litigation and negotiation, high tech sales, food industry marketing, art therapy, operations management of an amatuer sports club as well as service to non-profit boards in various capacities.

Any change initiative requires people to do something different in order to achieve a new future state. To support organizations in this, Debora believes that it is important to understand and address the unique complexities and contributions of all individuals impacted to increase change adoption and build change agility. Her training and practice in art therapy has provided her the tools and skills to hear and see that which may not be voiced, supporting individuals to gain insights through image making, externalizing information for reflection and learning. As a change management practitioner she may integrate the use of image making and creative expression (visual thinking) to support the change process (visioning and purpose clarification, design, readiness development, strengthening team communication, minimizing resistance, and building emotional intelligence competencies). Harnessing this methodology and neuroscientific approach coaches people to “see” non verbal thoughts, including unconscious beliefs or emotions, in a fun and different way, expediting the process of change.

Debora values intentional listening with honest, clear and consistent communication, and believes these are vital enablers to the change process and adoption success, whether managing an isolated change initiative or striving to build organizational change competency. Ultimately organizations who adopt a growth mindset and are receptive to collective input from employees and stakeholders, will advance their change maturity and competency more readily.
